This report presents findings from the rapid MESA diagnostic conducted to assess Uzbekistan’s systems and capacities for planning, budgeting, and M&E, and to identify ways to strengthen these systems for better evidence use in policymaking. The Agency for Strategic Reforms (ASR) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and the International Strategic Center for Agri-Food Development (ISCAD) requested support on M”&E from the Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) and its implementing partner, the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results, Pakistan and Central Asia (CLEAR PCA)
